Fabric Suggestions
The Hedy Sweatshirt is designed for slightly stretchy fabrics, such as French terry or a thick knit with some stretch. We recommend fabrics between 250 and 300 g/m² for the best structure, especially to ensure the pleats at the sleeve cuffs hold their shape.
Note: If your fabric has more than 35% stretch, the pleats may not drape as intended.
For my version, I used Mind The Maker with matching ribbing.

Testimonials
“It’s a really fun pattern that will keep adventurous beginners engaged with things like sewing knits, working with and encasing ribbing for a clean finish, adding exposed zippers. This pattern lends itself to so many fun variations of color and fabric within its components. And, it has the added bonus of being a quick sew so you can enjoy your garment right away. I love that it’s a cozy oversized sweat that can be worn as is or layered over a woven top for a more styled look.“
